To hide your friend list from other people on Facebook (product) you have to:
1. Go to your timeline
2. Choose Friends unit
3. Click on the Manage section (pencil image on the right)
4. Choose "Friend List"
5. Adjust the settings (in this case, choose "Only me")
6. Save the settings.
