How to Reset My Password on Facebook

If you forget your Facebook password, you can easily reset it. Reset tells Facebook to forget about the lost password but rather send you a new reset code. Usually the Facebook reset code is sent to the mobile number associated with your Facebook account.
Keep in mind that Reset is different from changing password on Facebook. If you have your password – what you should do is to change your password. This is more straight forward because you’ll not be asked too many security questions to prove ownership of the account.

So, how do you reset Facebook password because I lost mine?

To reset your password, follow the steps below.
If you don’t know your current password, you can reset it:
  1. Visit the Find Your Account Page here: https://web.facebook.com/login/identify on your browser.
  2. Type the email, phone number, full name or username associated with your account, then hit on Search
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to reset your  Facebook password

Linking Instagram to Facebook

Considering linking your Instagram account to your Facebook account? Wondering if that’s even possible? Yes, it is. Read on to find out how you can link your Instagram account Facebook account.
Instagram and Facebook are more or less two peas in the same pod. This notion is conceived from the fact that they share a connection which is non existent between other social media platforms. Although Twitter allows Instagram posts to be published as web links, this doesn’t begin to compare to Instagram contents Facebook allows. Let me break it down; Facebook allows Instagram images to be shared straight from an application which enables photo-sharing to your Facebook timeline and the News Feed. This shouldn’t come as a surprise, I mean both Facebook and Instagram share the same owner.
Linking Instagram to Facebook
As was earlier stated, linking Instagram to Facebook grants you the ability to share photos from your Instagram account to your Facebook account.
In all honesty, we all enjoy getting lots of likes on Instagram and pretty much every other social media platform. Linking Instagram to Facebook increases your chances of getting likes. Also, the interest of friends or even a wider audience is piqued to the original source of every image or video you share from one platform to the other. Apart from gaining more exposure, cross-posting could allow your Facebook contacts that aren’t on Instagram to keep up with your activity there.
Also, because of the smooth integration between the two, Instagram post details-including captions, will be shared to Facebook, together with any location data, hashtags and emojis you’ve added. Uploads will be saved to Facebook in a folder titled “Instagram photos”. This allows you to easily tag your friends on the social network.
Linking your Instagram to your Facebook account: The Procedure
The procedure which enables you to link Instagram to Facebook on iOS and android devices would be exactly the same except for one small difference. For this reason, the steps for both Operating Systems will not be stated separately. However, the trivial difference will be highlighted.
Steps on how to link your Instagram to your Facebook account

  • Tap the profile icon. This should take you to the profile tab. The profile icon is person-shaped and is at the bottom right corner of the Instagram page.
  • Tap the gear-looking icon on the top right corner (this icon appears only for iPhone users).
For Android users, three vertically oriented dots is observed instead in the top right corner. This serves the same purpose as the gear icon on iPhones. This action should take you to a page with several subheadings.
  • Click Linked Accounts under the “Settings” subheading.
A list of social media platforms with an integration ability with Instagram is displayed.
  • Click Facebook. This will take you to a Facebook login page, still on Instagram.
  • Enter your Facebook login details.
This will log you into your Facebook account from within Instagram. Note that you’ll be given an option to open Facebook via the Facebook application also. Once you’re logged in, you’ll be asked to choose who will be able to view your photos. The following options are available; Public, Friends, Friends except acquaintance, Only Me and Acquaintance.
  • Choose the option which best suits your needs and click the “OK” button.
This will take you back to the page which contains a list of social media platforms you’re allowed to link with Instagram. You’ll notice the Facebook icon has turned blue, indicating you’re now sharing your posts on Facebook. By default, your Instagram posts will be shared on your Facebook timeline.
After completing these steps, you’ll be able to share your Instagram posts to Facebook. However after creating the link, it is possible to share old posts.

How to Delete a Facebook Group
[Last updated: 09/24/2018]
Is it time to delete your Facebook group? Groups can be a valuable asset to your business marketing but they don’t always work out the way you planned.
If you have a large membership, they can be extremely time-consuming. Unless they are contributing to a specific business goal, it’s hard to justify keeping them alive.
In this post, we’ll look at how to delete a Facebook group as well as some alternatives to pulling the plug.
Deleting your Facebook group is drastic and final. Once you’ve done it, there’s no going back. You’ll lose all the content and threads. All the work you put in will be gone for good. So before you delete, consider the other options.
If you are 100% sure you want to delete scroll down to point 4.
1. Change the Group’s Name and Branding

Instead of deleting could re-branding the group work?
It can be disheartening when you grow an engaged group but members constantly recommend your competitors in their comments. Usually, this is because you didn’t make it clear that the group is owned by your business when you set it up.
If so, a re-brand could fix the problem. Change the group name, add branding to your cover images, and link it to your Facebook page. Here’s how.
Change the group name
Click the three dots underneath your cover photo
Select ‘Edit group settings’ from the drop-down menu

Edit group settings to change the name of your Facebook group
Type in your new group name next to ‘Group Name’

Change your Facebook group name to the new branded version.
Add branding to the cover photo
Your group cover image size is 1,640px by 859px. Use Canva, or your preferred graphic design tool, to create a Facebook group cover that includes your logo.
Link the group to your page

Linking your page to your group lets you post, like and comment as your page on your Facebook group.
To link your group to your Facebook page:
Click the three dots under your cover photo
Select ‘Edit group settings’ from the drop-down menu
Under Linked Pages click ‘Link Your Page’

Link your group to your Facebook page so that you can post and comment as your business
Click ‘Link’ next to the page you want to link

Select the page you want to link your group to
2. Appoint New Admins
Friendships form in groups– members make real connections and support each other. Deleting the group and destroying these relationships can end in hurt feelings and damage your reputation.

Instead of deleting, offer to hand your Facebook group over to new Admins. Look for active members in the group who might want to take on the role.
If you hand the group over to new admins, disconnect the group from your business and consider renaming it so that members can see there has been a change.

  • Your page settings

You Haven’t “Published” It
It may sound dumb but it is actually possible, creating a Facebook business page is far different from publishing it. In times, Facebook may decide to publish it for you, but it still requires admins to go in and change their page’s settings from “unpublished” to “published.” To do this;
  • go to your settings,
  • navigate to “General,” and then look for “Page Visibility.”
  • If it shows “unpublished,” then that is the problem.
  • Simply click the “edit” option and change it to publish.

Age and Country are set as Restricted
While creating your Facebook business page, you had an option to select country and age restrictions. If you chose to place any of these restrictions on business page, then you should remove it. This restrictions won’t allow other Facebook users to access your page until they are logged in, so those that searches your page from any search engine won’t be able to view it. To do this;
  • go to settings, then “General,” and look for country and age restrictions.
  • If you want your Facebook page to show up in search results, you need to set both of them to “everyone.”

No Profile Photo or Cover Photo
Facebook requires that you include on your business page both a cover photo and a profile photo which should be visible.
  • Cover photo: Recommended size that works on both desktop and mobile is 820px wide by 462px tall, but make sure the main parts are centered as it will be cropped to 640px by 360px on mobile.
  • Profile photo: Recommended size is 170px wide by 170px tall.
You Didn’t Set Your Call-to-Action Button
Call-to-action buttons are present on your profile, and it needs to be activated. It’s seen right beneath your cover photo. To make changes to it, click on it, and choose from the pop up options the one that most resonates with your business and your goals.

You Haven’t Added Basic Info in Your About Section
If you have not included your basic information on your About section during creation of your Facebook business page, then it is time you include it. It is essential to tell your audience a little about your company, and don’t forget to show your personality.

You Haven’t Posted Anything in a While (or Ever)
If you have left your account dormant for a while, then you page will not be published. So you have to post consistently in order to get your business page published.

Facebook hasn’t indexed your page yet
Finally, it might be that Facebook hasn’t indexed your business page, it may take few days for Facebook to index your page, but as soon as it is done, your page would be seen from all search engines. After a week of page creation and yet it is still not on various search engines, you may want to try un-publishing the page and then publishing again, this may work.

And that is all from here, I hope this solved your problems? Kindly share with your friend facing similar issues.
